SoulFang was formed in Salt Lake City in January 2022, when a classic soul / RnB singer first crossed paths with some dirty rockers. They challenged one another to come up with a style of music which would satisfy all of their disparate tastes. The result is a band that blends slow dancing with headbanging, jazz clubs with mosh pits, tenderness with shredding.

The band released the Chemical Meditation E.P in May 2023 to tremendous fan response, hailed for combining the retro punch of '90s and '00s alternative rock with dreamy soul atmosphere and groove. When their original drummer Chelsea departed the band two months later, the three remaining members rallied and enlisted a highly skilled new drummer to further uplevel their sound and live performances.

It is this lineup of Liz Seibert, Henry Robertson, Sam Robertson, and Chris 'Squid' Stilling who are currently in the studio recording their much-anticipated full length debut. This album - titled Passions, Potions, Wicked Lullabies - will be issued on deluxe vinyl in addition to its release on streaming platforms. Covering themes as varied as mental health, the afterlife, and bold sexuality, this album seems destined to become an instant classic that will launch SoulFang onto the national stage.
